The Brisbane Lions have completed a trade with the Melbourne Football Club for Tom Fullarton.
The trade sees the forward-ruck become a Demon and in exchange the Lions receive pick 47 in the 2023 NAB AFL Draft.
Brisbane Lions List Manager, Dom Ambrogio said the Club thanked Fullarton for his services.
“Whilst it is always disappointing to lose players you have spent time developing, we understand Tom wanted to seek further opportunities and are glad we could help facilitate a trade,” he said.
“During his time with us, Tom was a respected and valued member of the Club and played 19 games at AFL level including several finals.
“We would like to thank Tom for his contribution to the Brisbane Lions and wish him well for the future.”
Fullarton, a former member of the Brisbane Lions Academy, originally signed as a Category B Rookie from the Brisbane Bullets in a move from basketball to football midway through the 2018 season.
