Midfielder Dayne Zorko (MID, $642,000) continues to rise up the AFL Fantasy leaderboard, now sitting in fifth place overall after collecting a team-high 124 points against Collingwood. Zorko started the match with a bang, kicking the first two goals on his way to 28 disposals, 18 of which were contested. Zorko also made an equal team-high seven tackles.
Dayne Beams (MID, $599,000) also gathered 28 disposals, helping him to an AFL Fantasy points tally of 116, which was just up on his average of 111 for the season. Beams also kicked three goals, the most of any Lion on the day.
Another strong performance by Jake Barrett (MID/FWD, $351,000) was rewarded with a $24,00 price increase, meaning his stock has risen by $201,000 since the start of the season, fourth highest in the AFL Fantasy league. Barrett received 87 AFL Fantasy points against the Magpies after collecting 18 disposals and making seven tackles.
The inclusion of Archie Smith (RUC, $335,000) in the team for Sunday’s match saw Stefan Martin’s (RUC, $592,000) output drop considerably. Martin secured 64 Fantasy points, his lowest amount for the season so far. Whether Smith continues to play moving forward will have a big impact on Martin’s value, which decreased by $21,000 following Round 10.
