The Brisbane Lions AFLW side have named foundation Lion Kate Lutkins and new recruit Shanae Davison ahead of their Grand Final rematch with North Melbourne on Sunday.

Lutkins, who was named Best on Ground in the Lions 2021 Premiership win, was inactive last season following the birth of her daughter Riley.

Her selection culminates a whirlwind 12 months for the three-time All-Australian, who’s last game for the Lions was the 2022 Grand Final loss.

Davison makes her Club debut, after being traded from West Coast during the 2023 Sign and Trade period.

Named on the interchange bench, Davison was recruited for her outside run and ball-use.  She has forced her way into the reigning premier's line up following a strong preseason.

Fellow recruit Eleanor Hartill has been named as an emergency along with 2023 draftees Sophie Peters and Rania Crozier.

The remainder of Lions AFLW senior coach, Craig Starcevich’s team maintains a familiar look to the one which took home the chocolates on Grand Final Day in 2023.

The Lions will face off against North Melbourne in front of home crowd at Brighton Homes Arena, with the first bounce from 3:05pm AEST, with tickets on sale now.

Patrons are encouraged to catch public transport, for more info click here.

If you can’t make it to Brighton Homes Arena you can catch all the action live on 7Mate, Fox Footy and Kayo or by following the Lions social channels for game day updates.
