Brisbane Lions ruckman Oscar McInerney and young forward Will McLachlan have been named to take on Richmond at the MCG on Saturday afternoon.
McInerney, who missed last week’s win against Geelong due to gastro, comes back into Chris Fagan’s team for ruck-forward Darcy Fort (omitted).
While McLachlan gets the call up to take the place of injured forward Kai Lohmann who has been ruled out with ankle soreness.
This will be McLachlan’s second opportunity at AFL level after the emerging forward made his debut a fortnight ago in his side’s win over West Coast.
The Lions have listed an interchange of Callum Ah Chee, Will Ashcroft, Levi Ashcroft, Will McLachlan and Bruce Reville.
With Darcy Gardiner, James Tunstill and Fort as the club’s three emergencies.
Saturday’s match kicks off at 3:15pm (Brisbane time) at the MCG and will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo.
