Brisbane Lions Senior Coach Chris Fagan has made one change to his side ahead of Saturday night’s match with Essendon.
Defender Jack Frost will play his first AFL game as a Lion after serving a one match suspension for engaging in careless conduct in Round One of the JLT series.
25-year old Frost played 54 games in four seasons with the Magpies, but fell out of favour in the second half of 2016 before being traded to the Lions.
At 195cm, Frost will slot straight into Brisbane’s backline, which was depleted last year after the retirements of Daniel Merrett and Justin Clarke.
Ben Keays will make way for Frost.
The Lions will train on the Gabba tomorrow prior to Saturday’s match, despite a deluge of rain hitting Brisbane in the wake of Cyclone Debbie.
Bounce down is at 6:25pm (AEST). Follow the game on Twitter, Snapchat, Facebook and Instagram.
