Five year old Ashton Richardson had ‘the best day of his life’ when he dropped by to watch the Brisbane Lions train this week.
Ashton has been diagnosed with titan myopathy, a muscle disorder that causes weakness and muscle fatigue, which limits his ability to walk.
However, this didn’t stop the little Lion, as he exploded with energy when he spotted family friend and favourite player Cameron Rayner.
In front of the entire playing group, Rayner presented Ashton with his own signed Brisbane Lions guernsey. You couldn’t wipe the smile off Ashton’s face!
In positive news, Ashton, like the Lions, continues to kick goals as he was recently cleared for the next two years.
