AFL Cheif executive Gillon McLachlan is keen to use Brisbane's feel-good factor to turn this year's Easter Thursday clash with Collingwood into a permanent fixture.
The Lions host the Magpies at the Gabba in a round five clash, with McLachlan saying a bumper crowd and performance by the Lions will make a strong case for the match to be regular part of the AFL calendar.

McLachlan says there's a "great energy" about the Lions heading into the 2019 campaign and he intends to attend the clash with the Magpies, which he'd "love" to turn into a permanent slot.
