With Round 1 of the 2018 season done and dusted and the first home game of 2018 just around the corner, there was plenty of talking points on this week's episode of The Roar Deal.
Hosts Dom Fay and Michael Whiting kicked the episode off by discussing who they had nominated for Round 1 of The Roar Deal Votes Tally.
Three players stood out for both Fay and Whiting: Jarrod Berry, Stefan Martin and Charlie Cameron.
The Lions dominated the clearances in last weekend's match against St Kilda and Whiting believed that was largely due to Martin's dominance in the ruck contest.

Cameron and Berry also impressed Fay and Whiting, collecting three goals each.
"Cameron was very dangerous - He had five shots at goal and made the most of every opportunity," Whiting said
"Berry is a young player who seems to really have taken that next step in his second season," Fay added.
"I thought he showed promising signs that we haven't seen at the Club in a long time."
Allen Christensen, or 'Bundy' as he is more commonly known, was the first guest to join this week's episode, ahead of his 100th game milestone on Saturday.
Having first broken his collarbone almost 20 months ago, Christensen has undergone a long road to recovery in order to get to the ton.
"It's been a long time since I've been out there, so just to have played last weekend was really enjoyable," Bundy said.
Bundy assured both Fay and Whiting that he has no injury worries in 2018.
"I've had no issues with the collarbone for some time now."
"It's obviously been under the microscope for a while, but I don't even think about it anymore."
Bundy admitted that the greatest hurdle he faced throughout his recovery was the mental battle.
"Mentally, it was the biggest barrier for me, but I've jumped over that now though so it's all good."
Lions CEO Greg Swann also sat down on the podcast to discuss some very exciting news.
Last Saturday the Club announced that it was confident the proposed new Springfield training base and
"We've had a bit of a breakthrough last week," Swann said.
"We've had long discussions with both the State and Federal Government.
"The funding will be put forward in the May budget."
The final guest to join this week's podcast was one of the busiest Lions employees when it comes to game day.
Match Day and Marketing Executive, Taylor Olzard, sat down to discuss the exciting events happening around the Club before and during the first home game for 2018.
