A collection of players from the Fitzroy Junior Football Club's U10 teams will form a Guard of Honour for the Brisbane Lions prior to their clash against reigning premier Richmond at the MCG.
This annual activity recognises the Club's ongoing relationship with the Fitzroy community and their grassroots football programs.
The juniors who form the Guard of Honour will be decked out in the traditional FFC strip.
Brisbane Lions VIC-based members and supporters with general admission entry are encouraged to sit together in the 'Lions Only' area located on Level 1 at the MCG in section M33, Rows T - NN (located behind the VIC cheer squad M33 - Rows A-S).
Plenty of other GA areas will also be available on the day - the above is purely a way to ensure you're surrounded by fellow Lions fans.
Members wishing to upgrade their membership and purchase a reserved seat can do so directly through Ticketek.
All Lions members and supporters are encouraged to stick around after the game to meet some of the players at our first official Victorian aftermatch function for the season.
The function will commence immediately after the final siren (approx.
The event will feature interviews with special guests including the players who will make their way up to the room following their post-match warm-downs.
The bar will also be open inside the room should any fans want to grab a snack or a drink post-game.
