The Brisbane Lions NEAFL side will take on Sydney University this Saturday at the Gabba in a preliminary final.

- Gate 4 will open for members of the general public at 11.30am. Sections 33-37 will be open for general access.
- Gate 5 Gabba members will open at 11.30am. All levels are open.
After finishing the regular season in second place on the ladder, the Lions enjoyed a week off and a direct passage through to week two of the finals.
Sydney University were made to work by the Aspley Hornets in their qualifying final on Saturday, before powering away in the second half to win 19.12 (126) to 11.10 (76).
The Lions and the Scholars have faced off once already this season back in July, with the Lions prevailing by 65 points.
If victorious on Saturday, the Lions will be through to the NEAFL grand final for the first time since 2013.
