Brisbane Lions Category B Rookie Tom Fullarton will make his NEAFL debut against Sydney University in Blacktown this Saturday.

The 19-year-old is well-known within the Lions' four walls, having joined the Hyundai Help for Kids Lions Academy at 12 years of age for three years before pursuing Basketball in the NBL instead. 

The 200cm utility returned to footballl earlier this year and signed the with Club in late May. Since then, Fullarton has spent the last few months building up his fitness and strength to AFL football standards.

Joining Fullarton in the Lions’ line-up will be Casey Voss, son of Lions great Michael Voss. Casey played his first game in the guernsey against the Southport Sharks last round.

The Lions NEAFL side will be looking to bounce back following a narrow 2-point loss to Southport last weekend. While Sydney University will also be hopeful of redeeming themselves, after falling short to Canberra last round. 

Saturday's clash will be the first time the two teams have met since 2017, when the Lions put on a brilliant display to take the win and progress through to the NEAFL Grand Final.
