The Brisbane Lions players were put to work in the Sunshine Coast heat on Wednesday, before joining fans at a Super Clinic and Signing Session held at Maroochydore’s Multisports Complex.
Speaking to the media after the morning session Assistant Coach Danny Daly was happy with how the boys had worked in the conditions.
“The boys trained really well today I thought.”
“They’ve had a pretty hard pre-season, so it’s good to get away from Brisbane and come up to the Sunny Coast and get out here in the good weather and put on a good session for the supporters.”

After a quick break for lunch, the players then went and spent some time with the local supporters at the Super Clinic and Signing Session.
“It’s good for our supporters on the Sunshine Coast to experience what training is like for Brisbane.”
“For all the kids to see the players out here… it’s really important to keep engaging our fans.”
