The Lions will play three games across the series with two being played in Queensland and one in Sydney.
Each club will select a squad of 30 players with the Lions having priority access to select their 2018 AFLW contracted players.

The side will be coached by Lions AFLW Assistant Coaches Dan Merrett, Brent Staker and David Lake as well as John Taylor.
Each match will see the 21 selected players fight it out across four 20-minute quarters.
Lions AFLW CEO Breeanna Brock said that the Winter Series provides a fantastic opportunity for players to reunite in the long break between AFLW seasons.
“It’s essential we keep this group together ticking over together in the winter months,” she said.
“This competition is also a vehicle for us to trial new players in the list and see apples against apples.
“There’s some exciting new talent coming through our academy and the QWAFL and we can’t wait to see them in the mix.”
The team will come together for their first training session on Wednesday, 30 May.
