Brisbane Lions Head of Medical Peter Blanch says that Dayne Beams will give himself every opportunity to play against Adelaide on Saturday.
Beams is progressing well in his rehabilitation from a quad injury suffered during the Round 6 loss to Port Adelaide, but will have to tick some boxes – that includes getting through the Lions' main training session on Thursday, if he is to line up against the Crows.
“Dayne’s going really well. We’ll probably make a decision on that at the end of training on Thursday” said Blanch.
DZ: Rockliff and Beams did a little bit of training today. It'd be great if they could both play this weekend.

Midfielder Tom Rockliff is expected to miss the next 2-3 weeks following a shoulder injury.
Rockliff left the field late in the fourth quarter of the Lions’ 38-point loss to Hawthorn in Launceston on Saturday after dislocating his left shoulder.
“It’s going to keep him out for the next 2-3 weeks. Hopefully we’ll get him back just after the bye,” said Blanch.
DZ: If they cannot, I'm confident these younger players would put their best foot forward and dig in.
