Marco Paparone will play his first senior game since June last year after being selected to play for the Lions against the Sydney Swans at the SCG on Sunday.
The 22-year-old will return from a persistent hamstring injury that has plagued the defender since last season.
His last senior match was Round 13 against the West Coast Eagles.
Since returning to the NEAFL, Paparone has been one of the Lions’ best, collecting 30 disposals in the 45-point win over the SUNS a fortnight ago.
Paparone’s return will mark his 50th game while Daniel Rich will play his 150th match for the Lions.
Jake Barrett will also return to the senior side, playing his first senior game since round three.
Dayne Beams (quad) and Tom Cutler (hamstring) will be unavailable.
Bounce down is at 1.10pm on Sunday.
