Brisbane Lions Captain Dayne Beams will make his return from a quad injury against Adelaide on Saturday.
The 27-year-old missed a fortnight with the injury but was able to pass his final hurdle – main training today.
Hugh McCluggage will also return to the side after being rested against Hawthorn. Matthew Hammelmann has been elevated to the Senior List and will join McCluggage in lining-up against the Crows on Saturday.
Hammelmann played nine matches for the Lions in 2016 after making his debut against Richmond in Round 14.
Midfielder Tom Rockliff will miss with a shoulder injury.
Rockliff left the field late in the fourth quarter of the Lions’ 38-point loss to Hawthorn in Launceston on Saturday after dislocating his left shoulder.
Josh Schache and Rohan Bewick have been omitted.
