The Brisbane Lions have continued their support of The Breakfast Program at the Watson Road State School.
Staff and members of the Lions AFLW team visited the school on Wednesday morning to serve the students breakfast and talk to them about a range of topics.
The Lions currently provide funding for 129 Watson Road State School Students to receive a nutritious, healthy breakfast three mornings a week.
Had a great morning with the @brisbanelions staff at Watson Road SS serving the students brekky & talking to them about social interactions & what we do at the Lions! So rewarding seeing their smiling faces this morning. Especially when they now chant GO LIONS #AllForOne pic.twitter.com/NMhfYiJZxi

The Breakfast Program was established a year ago and is run by Belong (formerly Acacia Ridge Community Centre) as part of a collaborative effort to ensure the students receive a healthy meal each day. United Way Australia (UWA) facilitates the program.
The complimentary breakfast aims to improve both the intellectual and physical performance of Watson Road State School students.
