The Brisbane Lions joined Vulcana Women's Circus to celebrate International Women's Day.
Following a three-point win over the Crows in Adelaide on Saturday, Brisbane Lions' Women's players Nicole Hildebrand and Caitlin Collins joined Vulcana's trainers in a special workshop during Queensland Women's Week, bringing together the State's newest women's sporting team with the most iconic women's arts organisation.
When asked by media at the event of a possible grand final berth; defender Nicole Hildebrand said her team are focused on week to week football, despite Saturday night’s win putting them a game clear of Adelaide with only two rounds of the season remaining.

“If we just keep playing to our structures and our strengths I think we’ll (continue on that winning path).
“We’ve been focused on playing week by week and hoping for the best outcome and that’s what we’ve been getting.”
Acknowledging the week's theme of Be Involved: Lead the Way, the Lions and Vulcana see this partnership as a great way for their organisation's to demonstrate that active participation in health and well-being activities is the first step to leading the way.
