Hannah Hillman: Pick No. 17, 184cm, 14/4/95

The Lions have selected Hannah Hillman with Pick No. 17 at today’s NAB AFLW Draft in Melbourne.
The 24-year-old recruited from Mackay stands at 184cm and played for Coorparoo’s QAFLW premiership team in 2019.
She was invited to the AFLW Combine and blitzed the competition by taking out the highly sought-after two-kilometre time trial win.
Coach Craig Starcevich has been impressed by Hillman’s commitment to football.
“Through her own expense she flew herself down from Mackay to play for Coorparoo this year,” he said.
“Hannah is an athletic ruck and works hard after a stoppage.
“She’s not afraid to go after a ball at ground level and her endurance allows her to get around the ground easily.
“Her primary role is in the ruck, but we see potential to develop her into a key position player.”
