The rivalry between the Sunshine State’s two biggest cities has long been in existence, but dials right up twice a year when the cities' two opposing AFL teams go head-to-head in a clash for the much coveted QClash Cup.
In just a fortnight’s time, the teams will clash for the eleventh time, with the ledger sitting at 6-4 in our favour; and it’s not a title the Lions will let go of easily.
The rivalry continues as the Lions look forward to facing their cross-town rivals, the Gold Coast SUNS on Saturday 16 April for QClash 11.
