AFL Queensland, in conjunction with the Brisbane Lions and Gold Cost SUNS, are giving community football coaches an opportunity to learn from the best with their upcoming coaching Masterclasses.
Both are free of charge to all accredited coaches.
The Lions’ Masterclass will be at the Gabba on Monday August 8 from 6pm until 7:30pm.
Brisbane Lions coaches Shane Woewodin and Ben Hudson will present. Woewodin will cover off on training session structures and handball techniques, while Hudson will go through the development process of key position and ruck players.
The SUNS Masterclass will also be held on Monday August 8, at Metricon Stadium from 6pm to 7:30pm.
SUNS coaches Ashley Prescott and Aaron Rogers will present. Prescott will talk about constructing a quality training session, while Rogers will cover the development of young players.
Both sets of coaches have volunteered their time and resources to give back to community football, the grass roots level of the game, so make sure you’re there to pick their brains.
