The Brisbane Lions are proud to name their Marquee players for the Inaugural Brisbane Lions Women’s Team.
Today, Brisbane Lions Women’s Team Coach Craig Starcevich announced that we have selected Tayla Harris and Sabrina Frederick-Traub as our Marquee Women’s footballers.
Harris is Queensland born and bred. She is 19-years-old, athletic, elite overhead and has a penetrating kick.
Her real trademark is her attack at the aerial contest and defensive pressure at ground level. She also loves an impromptu goal celebration too!
UK born Frederick-Traub is a strong overhead mark, hard hitting, high leaping in the ruck or up forward. ‘Sabs’ as she is known amongst her teammates is a long and accurate kick with a healthy set shot record.
Off the field Sabrina is an Australia Post AFL Multicultural Ambassador.
Throughout her schooling Sabrina was a dual sport athlete playing football and soccer, as well as a musician, playing the guitar and clarinet.
We would like to welcome both Tayla Harris and Sabrina Frederick-Traub to the Brisbane Lions Family.
