The Melbourne Demon's were simply too good in yesterday's clash at the MCG, winning by a total of 63 points.
Trailing by 32 points at halftime, the Lions came out firing. But missed opportunities spoiled any chances of an upset.
There were a few boys who really stood up to be counted against the Demon's.
Daniel Rich led the way with 26 disposals, six marks and six tackles.
Mitch Robinson finished the game with 24 disposals, four clearances, and a huge 10 tackles.
Dayne Zorko continued his great run of form with 22 disposals at a disposal efficiency of 86%, six clearances, five tackles and one goal.
Tom Bell kicked three important goals which brought us back into the game.
