So with only 13 active players, my AFL Dream Team scored a paltry 1,160 - but still somehow managed to go up three places to 316th in the Lions’ league.
Geelong’s Joel Selwood was the best of my bunch with 118 points, while my Captain choice this week was Lance Franklin who racked up 99 points - more than 100 less than his record-breaking haul against the Kangaroos in Round 10.
Not that it would have made much difference in the end, but David Zaharakis’ late withdrawal didn’t help my cause. Looks like I might have to look at trading him out now that I hear he has a quad injury and could miss a few weeks.
Round 12 should tell a different story when I get my five Brisbane Lions and five GWS players back out onto the field.
Hats off to ‘ZipZip’ who top scored for the Lions league this Round with over 1,800 points! I can only guess that he had very few Lions, Eagles, Crows, Giants, Kangaroos and Bulldogs in his squad.
‘LeueyLongerCombo’ also solidified his spot at the top with a score of 1,734, which puts him 400 points clear of the pack.

I’ll be doing some deals at the trade table and hoping to field a side of 18+ players. Surely that can help me creep inside the top 300…
