When I can I really enjoy getting out of Brisbane and quite often make the trip to Moreton Island to go camping inland.

My wife and I went out during last weekend’s bye round.

We took the ute over on the ferry from the port of Brisbane. The trip was a little over an hour and the weather was a little bit scrubby when we hit land.

Moreton Island is a four wheel drivers paradise. There’s about 200km of tracks, no bitumen roads over there, it’s all sand.
