Midfielder Dayne Beams will have shoulder surgery early next week and miss the rest of the season.
Elite Perfomance Manager, Brett Burton, said the Bupa Recovery Team are confident the shoulder will be ready to go for next preseason after the reconstructive surgery.
"Beamsy has obviously been carrying that shoulder for a while now and it just keeps popping out so he's now at a point where he can't continue to play with it because of the soreness and instability as well.
"He'll get operated on next week and it will be a normal 5-6 month recovery. He'll be raring to go and ready for pre-season and ready to start the season in 2016."
The injury news was better for Matthew Leuenberger, the ruckman expected to be sidelined for 2-3 weeks with a Tib Fib joint (just below the knee) strain suffered in the loss to Geelong on Saturday.
"He landed quite awkwardly in a marking contest, fortunately it's nothing too serious on the joint, but that will be pretty sore for a while.
"We'll assess him, he definitely won't play this week but we'll see how he goes the next couple of weeks."
