DAYNE ZORKO has been named in afl.com.au’s Team Of The Week after the Club’s loss to Sydney at the Gabba on Sunday.
Zorko dominated with 30 possessions and kicked three goals including some mid-air magic to volley a goal from the top of the square in the first quarter. He also provided plenty of run through the midfield with his trademark pace.
Describing his performance, afl.com.au journalist Nathan Schmook said:
“In a dour match that took a while to get going, Zorko was a constant presence for the Lions, providing spark and kicking three goals. Finished with 30 possessions and six inside 50s.”
