Tom Cutler will miss two matches following his ban decided by the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday evening.
Cutler pleaded not guilty to rough conduct on Adelaide's Lachlan Murphy in the third quarter of Saturday night's match at the Gabba.
The Lions contested Cutler slowed down before impact and even turned away to avoid contact. However, the Tribunal has found Cutler guilty of rough conduct and his two-match ban has been upheld.
He will not be eligible to play until Round 21 against Collingwood.
