The Brisbane Lions men’s side return for their first day of training in 2020 this Friday. The players and coaches have been busy during their Christmas break, here are some of the highlights.
Luke Hodge and his wife Lauren were thrilled to welcome their fourth baby boy, Tanner Austin, on Thursday 19th December. Tanner got to enjoy his first Christmas being spoiled by his brothers Cooper, Chase and Leo.
James Madden returned to his homeland of Ireland and played Gaelic football. Here he is playing for Ballyboden St Endas against Kilcoo at Kingspan Breffni (stadium) in Cavan.
Jack Payne stayed local over his Christmas break, enjoying the surf up at the Sunshine Coast, his home town.
Ely Smith also ventured to the northern hemisphere and is seen here enjoying the sights of London.
After spending quality time with his family in Tasmania, Mitch Robinson returned to Queensland determined to raise money for those affected by the bushfire crisis.
Alongside his brother, Robinson completed a 24 hour charity live stream where he played Fortnite and hosted his podcast Rip Through It.
WE DID IT! My bro @triplezerotv & I raised $15,000+ during our 24HR charity stream.

I didn't think a gaming platform would exceed our $5k goal to help the RFS & those affected by the fires!
Wholeheartedly, thank you everyone who donated, hosted or shared our cause. #RobSquad pic.twitter.com/ZQlMluFXU6
