A fantastic turnout of budding AFL stars turned out to receive some valuable footy advice from their favourite players.
The day started off with a mental test of Lions trivia, followed by footy skills taught by Jack Redden, James Polkinghorne, Bryce Retzlaff, Rohan Bewick, James Hawksley, Pearce Hanley, Josh Green, Brad Harvey, Broc McCauley and Jesse O'Brien before kids were invited to get a photo and autograph from their heroes. Then it was time for a lunch break!
The Club would like to thank AFL Queensland for helping organise the day’s activities and to all the parents of our Young Lions and Lions Cub members for bringing their kids along to this great event.
Next year, the Lions will also be opening the event up to our family junior members for the first time to add value to our family memberships!
