Rockliff and Redden were both among the Lions’ best players in the team’s 11-point loss to Melbourne on Sunday, earning 134 and 119 Dream Team points respectively for their efforts.
Yet Rockliff’s 19 kicks, 10 handballs, eight marks, seven tackles and one goal were enough to take him to an overall total of 319 over three games - six points clear of last week’s leader Redden.
Consecutive stand-out performances from stand-in skipper Jed Adcock has bulleted him up to third position overall (288 points) while Pearce Hanley (272) and Daniel Rich (258) round out the top five.
In terms of Lions players participating in the Dream Team competition, Rich maintains an edge over his team-mates.
‘Richy’s Rockets’ have launched up the overall leaderboard as well, moving up 44 spots to sit in 157th out of 650 registered teams in the Lions’ league.
Rich is receiving some serious competition from Joel Patfull, however, whose team ‘Patfull’s Posse’ scored more than any other team controlled by a Lions player (2,030) to move up 49 places into 207th.
The other big mover was rookie Mitch Golby ('Get Around Golbs') who jumped both Ash McGrath and Mitch Clark in the rankings.
Meanwhile, Scully’s curiously named ‘rAnDOM1zzz3d’ has taken outright first position in the Lions’ League, replacing Adam’s ‘Spaceballs’ side which now sits in second place. Brisbane Lions Media & Editorial Coordinator Sam Lord ('The Good Lord') has snuck into third position overall.
Congratulations also to Riley’s “Sceptile” side whose Round 3 score of 2,176 was the highest among all registered teams in the Lions’ group.
