Lions Captain Jed Adcock answered questions from fans immediately following the team's Round 8 loss to Essendon at the Gabba.

Jed Adcock: Hi guys, Jed here, bit disappointed after the loss but ready to answer your questions.

Sharon: Tough loss Jed. What were the conditions like out there? The skills of the boys was well below today.

Jed Adcock: Hi Sharon, conditions were actually quite nice, slippery at times but probably the one area we felt let us down was kicking inside 50m especially.

hopintoowoomba: Great game dude, so good as a supporter to see so much drive in you guys. Are there any more rookies you guys are looking to blood this year? 

Jed Adcock: Thanks Hopintoowoomba, yeah the rookies are doing really well, hopefully we can continue to ease some young guys through the team but would be nice to have a bit of consistency with the players in the team now.

QueenLion: You get them next time. I hope.

Jed Adcock: Thanks, we will.

Curious: What are your plans for the rest of the weekend, Jed? 

Jed Adcock: Hi Curious, plenty of rest, may head to the coast for a couple of days. Get ready for the back half of the year.

Guest: What are your thoughts on how Aish has come along?

Jed Adcock: He played probably his best game for us tonight, was able to win the ball inside and out and played with composure. Will continue to get better.

Any more questions guys before i head up to the signing session in Lion Park?

Scott: Hey Jed, how did Beamsy go in today's ressies game?

Jed Adcock: Got through unscathed, plenty of the footy and used it well. Will probably need another game or two to get his fitness back up.

Frank: Next week at Etihad stadium in Melbourne which goals will the brisbane lions cheer squad be located? 

Jed Adcock: Not sure on that one Frank but stay tuned to www.lions.com.au, I am sure the details will be on there.

Frank: Ash McGrath when will he be back?

Jed Adcock: Still a few weeks away, will join in full training soon but will need a few weeks to get up to speed.
