Jono Freeman looks like he’s going to grow into a good key forward.

He was lucky enough to get his first game on the weekend, and even though he didn’t get much of the ball, I thought he still did a pretty good job.

There’s lots to work with there.

Hey Ash, do you think the Fevola affair put the Club back a few years from a premiership?

Everyone’s got their opinion on the Fevola affair, but the Club thought that if they got him, they could have a crack at the Finals.

Yeah, I did hear. But it’s hard to look over and laugh at you guys when you’re sitting on the bench trying to stay in the game.

Is Browny the best player ever in footy?

He’d have to be up there as one of the best centre half-forwards. He’s right up there with Wayne Carey.

He’s been a great player for the Lions and for the AFL.

Have the Lions ever considered playing Joel Patfull up forward? He has great hands and often takes contested marks in defence.

I think the Club tried playing Joel Patfull up forward, but he’s known to get a bit of ‘ghost eyes’ in front of goal where the goal posts play tricks on him and he gets a bit scared kicking towards them.

He’s a good field kick, but when he gets in front of goal, he’s lucky if the ball even hits his foot.

I think we’ll leave him down back because the further away he is from goal, the better kick he is.
