The annual Historical Society Museum Dinner in Melbourne has officially ‘SOLD OUT’ with numbers reaching the maximum capacity of 600 on Wednesday.

The event, to be held on Thursday 21 August, will celebrate Fitzroy’s Best & Fairest winners with a star-studded guest list including: Kevin Murray, Garry Wilson, Gary Pert, Brad Boyd, Ross Thornton, Martin Pike, John Murphy, Ron Alexander and plenty others.

The Historical Society regrets to inform that any bookings received from today will have to be declined.

It’s a terrific result for the Historical Society and the support from the Victorian faithful, and will go a long way to helping fund further improvements to the magnificent Museum housed at Etihad Stadium.

Meanwhile, only 10 seats remain for the Melbourne Lionhearts lunch to be held on Friday 15 August (the day before the Round 21 match against Collingwood).

The function, hosted by Victorian-based coterie group the Lionhearts, will feature some of the Club’s most influential figures, including: new CEO Greg Swann, Assistant Coach Simon Black, General Manager of Football Dean Warren, Head of Recruitment, Retention, and Welfare Peter Schwab, and five Club Directors (including Leigh Matthews).

The event will be held at one of Melbourne’s premier venues, Eureka 89, and is expected to sell out in the next day or two.

If you were interested in securing one of the final tickets to the luncheon, and mixing it with the Club heavy-weights in an intimate environment, then please complete the attached booking form and return it to the Lionhearts as soon as possible.
