The Brisbane Lions side will remain unchanged, for just the second time this season, when they take on Melbourne on Sunday.
The same 22 players who helped overcome the Gold Coast Suns last Saturday will make the trip to Melbourne to take on the Demons for the first time this season.
Sunday’s match will mark a milestone for small forward, Josh Green, who is set to play his 50th AFL game.
Green is the Lions’ leading goal-kicker this season with 25 goals from 15 matches.
Melbourne-based Lions members and supporters will also have the opportunity to officially farewell retired ‘Lion King’ Jonathan Brown at Sunday’s match.??Brown will make a special appearance at the Club’s official Round 19 after match function in the Victory Room to address the Victorian faithful for the first time since announcing his retirement.??
The function will commence as soon as the final siren sounds, and all fans are encouraged to come along and salute one of the Club’s greatest ever players.?
?Official ‘Thank You Browny’ souvenir placards will also be handed out amongst the crowd.
The Lions take on Melbourne at Etihad Stadium, Sunday afternoon at 1.10pm.
