Each year, the AFL trade week generates a great deal of interest, speculation and discussion surrounding players who could potentially be switching teams.
The 2013 exchange period officially commences on Monday 8 October, with all clubs given three weeks before the deadline on Friday 25 October at 2pm.
Since the 1997 merger, the Club has participated every year in trade week with the exception of 2005.
Last year, the Lions acquired Stefan Martin from Melbourne in exchange for two late draft picks (No.52 and No.71).
Brent Moloney also became the first ever ‘free agent’ to sign with the Club.
The Lions are expected to be active again this year, and the Club will be sure to keep all its members and supporters updated on any deals as they happen via the Lions website and social media sites.
In the meantime, please find below a complete list of the Lions’ trade activity since 1997.
