One thing I have really enjoyed since coming over to Arizona has been the restaurants over here. And we've tried a few.
After each day of hard training, a few of the boys usually go out to dinner and we have tried to mix it up a bit.
Last night we went down to ‘Karma’ which is a sushi restaurant that had some weird things on the menu, like spider, but it’s pretty popular among the boys.
The night before that I tucked into a big steak at a place across the road called ‘1899’ which was pretty good, and I’ve also been down to the Burrito place.
Our first night in Arizona, Stakes recommended a restaurant called ‘The Fat Olive’ which was a really nice place. It’s an Italian restaurant and I had the wood-fired Lasagne which was really good.
I’m a country boy at heart and although the restaurants have been great, a nice home-cooked roast would go down pretty well I reckon, and lamb is my roast of choice.
