Steak with Sweet Potato
Most people pair steak with normal potatoes but this recipe with sweet potato is delicious. Sweet potatoes have a higher content of nutrients compared to other starchy veggies. Combined with nice lean steak and low-fat dairy, this is a wholesome meal.

What you need
2 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried chilli flakes
1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
1/2 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves, chopped
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
50ml olive oil
Beef scotch fillet steaks
300g orange sweet potato, peeled, cut into 2cm pieces
50g baby rocket
Light sour cream, to serve
Directions
-Put garlic, chilli flakes, oregano, parsley, vinegar and a bit of the cup of oil in a small food processor and process. Transfer to a bowl and marinate steaks in the mixture. Cover and refrigerate for ten minutes.
-Heat oil in a pan and cook sweet potatoes for 15 minutes until soft.
-Cook steaks on a pre-heated BBQ until cooked to your liking. Remove to a plate, cover and let rest.
-Slice steaks and serve with sweet potato mix and rocket. Dollop on a little sour cream to taste.
