While the Lions' season will officially come to a close this weekend, Voss believes it's still too early for fans to start preparing for the off-season.
"The season's not over yet," Voss said. "We still have Saturday night to go, and it's a big one against the Sydney Swans."
"We really want to be able to finish the season off strongly and we need your support."
"So make sure come along and shout really loud. The boys need you."
Even with a win over the Swans it's unlikely that the Lions can move further up the AFL ladder, but it would prove a significant boost for fans and the players as they start preparing for 2011.
"Hopefully we can gather some momentum before the end of the season and take that into 2011."
