The Brisbane Lions Members Hall of Fame was designed in 2007 to reward and recognise those individuals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty as a member of our proud Club.

A panel including the Senior Coach, Chief Executive and Membership Manager met in October to consider a long list of nominations that were received throughout the 2008 season.

Victorian members Lorraine Duncan and Hazel Gretton were deemed most worthy of the honour and now join inaugural inductees Garry Edwards and Alison Trafford as the only four members of the most exclusive member group at the Lions.

A detailed profile of both Lorraine and Hazel will be supplied in the Club’s 2008 Season Review & Annual Report publication which is set to reach members mailboxes at the beginning of December.

The Club would like to thank all members who took time in completing and submitting nomination forms for the 2008 Members Hall of Fame.

Hundreds of worthy applicants were considered for this honour – yet only two can be inducted each season.

The Club congratulates Lorraine and Hazel on their induction and looks forward to continuing the selection process again in 2009.
