Community Day Invite
WHEN: 10:30am - 12:30pm, Saturday 4 October 2008
WHERE: The old IKEA and Logan Library site, Corner of Springwood Road & Pannikin Street, Springwood.
GET THE FACTS, MEET THE LIONS AND HAVE YOUR SAY...
The Logan and Springwood area is a vibrant place. And with 40 per cent of our Lions reserved seat Gabba members living in the region - the Club really wants to be part of this community stronghold.
After investigating more than 120 locations, we've identified the old IKEA and library site at Springwood as the perfect place for our new Lions Den Social Club. It features ample on-site parking and public transport access, plus it's a great place for a community facility.
Our proposed venue will include:
• Indoor and outdoor dining serviced by plasma TVs covering all the sports
• Live entertainment, competitions, player visits and Lions-themed events
• Pre and post-match activities and dining discounts
• A great Lions atmosphere and memorabilia including the Premiership Cups.
So please come along to our Community Day on Saturday 4 October at the proposed site in Springwood. We'll have detailed information about our plans for what we can offer the area, plus the opportunity to have your say...
Lions CEO Michael Bowers will be available to answer all your questions and I'll be coming along with Browny and Charmo. We'll have a free BBQ, the Premiership Cups and plenty of activities and giveaways for the whole family.
We're looking forward to showing you just how passionate we are about playing a larger role in your community.
See you there!
