Due to pressing Football Department commitments and to allow Lions members and supporters to pay their full respects on ANZAC Day, the Victorian Junior Members Footy Clinic and Victorian Player Sponsors Function originally planned for this Sunday 25 April have both been moved to Sunday 6 June.

Therefore, both these popular Victorian events will now occur on the Sunday morning after the Round 11: Lions v North Melbourne game at Etihad Stadium.

9:30am - 11:30am, Sunday 6 June 2010 @ Albert Cricket Ground, St Kilda Road, Melbourne (Venue TBC) - Free for junior Lions members.

Victorian Player Sponsors Function:
9:30am - 11:30am, Sunday 6 June 2010 @ Parkview Hotel, St Kilda Road, Melbourne (Venue TBC) - Invite only event.

Both venues across the road from each other are currently being confirmed with this new date of Sunday 6 June and the Club apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Members and supporters are also invited to watch the team's light training run from 4pm this Friday afternoon at the Albert Cricket Ground in St Kilda Road, Melbourne ahead of their clash with the dangerous Demons this Saturday night.

This public training session is instead of the post-match event planned for the MCG late on Saturday night with the players having to leave for the airport on the team bus within 50 minutes of the final siren.

This same-night departure is to assist with the team's back-to-back away games recovery with a match against the high-flying Sydney Swans at the SCG the following Saturday night for Round 6.
