After the game, if we travel, we usually fly straight home if it’s a day game. If it’s a night game, we just got back to the hotel and go to sleep. It’s all about recovery these days.

Question: Hi Ash, if you had to pick an NFL team filled with your fellow Lions teamates, who would you pick as your Quarterback, Runningback, Wide reciever, Guard and Linebacker?
My quarterback would be myself, my running back would be myself… na, running back would be Todd Banfield, wide receiver would be Tommy Rockliff - he likes to spend a bit of time out wide in the free space. My guard would be Jack Redden cause he’s muscly and my linebacker/blocker would be Joel Patfull. He’s known for blocking a few boys out on the town.

It depends how my body is feeling, but I definitely would not play for the black and white Swans. If it was the South Fremantle Bulldogs then that’s a different story.
