Players accept sanctions
Jed Adcock and Pearce Hanley have both accepted sanctions handed down from the Match Review Panel.
Jed Adcock was been charged with a Level One bumping or making forceful contact from front-on offence against North Melbourne's Levi Greenwood during the second quarter Saturday’s match.
Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from North Melbourne, the incident was assessed as negligent conduct (one point), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points).
This is a total of four activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level One offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match sanction.
Adcock's existing five-year good record reduced the penalty by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record.
He today took an early plea which further reduced the penalty by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 70.31 points towards his future record.
Pearce Hanley was been charged with a first offence for making negligent contact with an umpire (Troy Pannell) during the third quarter of Saturday's match against North Melbourne.
A first offence for negligent contact with an umpire is a $1200 sanction, however Hanley took an early plea which reduced the penalty by 25 per cent to a $900 sanction.
