The ‘Lions in YOUR Club’ initiative has since provided the 40 Brisbane Junior Clubs with regular player appearances, fundraising assistance, ticketing offers, exclusive match-day experiences, and a range of other great benefits.
Undoubtedly the biggest thrill for these Brisbane Junior Clubs is having a couple of Lions players visit them during the season.
These events are held twice each year, with the most recent taking place on Tuesday night.
Lions players were split into pairs and sent to different Junior Clubs across Brisbane to help conduct training sessions, sign autographs, and simply spend time among the junior footballers in Queensland.
The evening proved a huge success, with the Lions players flocking to social media afterwards to provide details of their visit.
