Thankfully, I got up by over 200 points. The Polka Specials scored 2,268 this week which I was happy with overall.
I actually think I’m a pretty good shot of taking out the minor premiership now.
In what was a disappointing game for us this week against Carlton, Jack Redden had a great game. He racked up 108 Dream Team points which was handy for me and the Polka Specials.
Rohan Bewick and Jordan Lisle were also impressive with scores of 94 and 88 - for blokes who only cost their DT coaches around $200K each, that’s not bad value.
Meanwhile, Dayne “Tink” Zorko had an average week (by his standards) with just 63 points - I’ll be sure to get stuck into him this week and tell him to lift his game.
LeueyLongerCombo seems to the have the Lions League well and truly under control, about 700 points clear of his nearest rival. Congratulations to Myles and The All Ordinaries who got the highest score this week in the group!
POLKS’ TIP FOR THE WEEK
Try to hang on! Injuries have been a killer this year and this weekend was no different. Don’t worry about holding onto your trades - the men have been separated from the boys and there’s no point crashing out of finals with two trades left in your pocket.
This means I might have to take my own advice…and finally trade Lance Franklin.
