GABBA AFL ELIMINATION FINAL TICKETING UPDATE

Dear Members & Supporters

As you are probably aware, this Saturday night's Elimination Final against Carlton is an official 'AFL Event' NOT a Brisbane Lions fixture so all ticketing, pricing and seat access is controlled by the AFL who are using Ticketek to process their sales for this match.

All Full Lions Members should hopefully have purchased their match tickets on Monday 31 August during their priority access period. All Season Ticket Members should hopefully have purchased their tickets yesterday on Tuesday 1 September during their priority access period.

Today ALL unpurchased Gabba seats not already claimed by Lions members are now on sale to the general public in all categories on a 'best available' basis via Ticketek over the phone on 132 849 and NOW ONLINE through their website www.ticketek.com.au because the membership 'seat protection' has now been removed.

We understand that some members were having difficulties accessing tickets during their membership priority period on Monday and Tuesday so the AFL instructed Ticketek to add extra sellers and extend their trading hours from 5pm to 9pm on both nights.

The Club has been endeavouring to call as many Lions members as possible who hadn't purchased their seats as of 5pm yesterday (Tuesday) but it is simply impossible to reach everyone in time.

As a friendly reminder, the Lions are also hosting six Ticketek windows until 5pm today right here at the Gabba at Gate 2 on Stanley Street (corner of Main Street) which currently have reasonable to minimal queues so please come on down in person.
