When you have an injury and you are watching from the box or the boundary, what is the feeling in your stomach like? Are you nervous or is it pretty relaxed?
Dylan from Jimboomba (QLD)

You don’t know how to feel really. You wish you were out there and you do get a little bit nervous but it’s more of a supporting kind of feeling, hoping the boys can get up.

Hi Ash, whos the clumsiest at the club and what they do to earn themselves that title?
Hurley from Brisbane (QLD)

Probably Joel Patfull. I think he’s long-sighted, he’s always banging into door frames. Poor Joelly.

Hey Ash, what are your plans for the off season?
Laura from Melbourne (VIC)

I’m going to hang around Brisbane for a couple of weeks and then get back to Perth to see family and friends. I might head up to the Sunshine Coast for a week or so. See how we go!

Hi Ash, who is your tip for the Club best and fairest?
Mitch from Rose Bay (NSW)

Probably Jack Redden or Simon Black. It’d be good to see Reddo get up because Blacky’s won just about everything you can win as a footy player. He’s running out of drawers to put all his medals in.

How much physio do you have each week?
Peter from Maroochydore (QLD)

Just one session a week to keep your body in touch. But if you’re injured then it’s usually every day that you’re getting some sort of treatment.

Hey Ash, when I watch the game on TV there are always so many people sitting on your bench with computers, and doctors and stuff. What do all those guys do?
Kristy from Red Hill (QLD)

They’re all our sport science staff. We all wear GPS units in our jumpers so they can track how far we’ve gone and how long we’ve been on the ground. There’s also rotations staff and physios and the like.

I read on the website that you guys are looking for a new training facility somewhere in Brisbane. When will you be moving?
Hutchy from Paddington (QLD)

Not for a while I think Hutchy. It’s something that the Club has just started looking at and I believe it’s a 5-year plan.

How many games have you played now?
Braden from Sydney (NSW)

I think it’s around 178 or so. Hopefully I’ll get to my 200th soon.

G'day ash, i'm just wondering is there any big spuds when it comes to doing training drills, given the fact there's always one kid who gets it wrong, just wondering if there was one at the lions, i'd guess patfull just a hunch
Hodgey from Yorralogga (WA)

Joel’s pretty good actually when we train. The biggest spud would have to be big Bart or big Broc. It’s always the big tall ruckmen, there must be something about them where things just don’t get through the ears and they’re bound to stuff the drills up.

That’s it for another year of Ooh Aah Ash McGrath - thanks to all our loyal readers and for all your questions this season!
