The players then visited a local school where they performed a football clinic and taught some of the finer football skills to the young students who were previously foreign to AFL.
The team paid their first visit to Jiangwan Stadium and trained ahead of Sunday's Shanghai Showdown. The session was a high quality one - particularly considering it was the first since the players commenced their end of season break at the beginning of September.
The day concluded with the Club's official welcome dinner which included all players, staff and officials as well as the Lions supporter tour groups and trip sponsors.
The players will be afforded some free time today to experience the Chinese culture at their own leisure.
