Adcock’s junior club honour
Jed Adcock has been named as part of the on-ball division in the North Ballarat Rebels’ U18 Team of the Decade
The team, which was announced at the Rebels’ end-of-season awards ceremony, features 19 AFL players including the likes of Brad Sewell (Hawthorn), James Frawley (Melbourne), Jeremy Cameron (GWS) and Michael Jamieson (Carlton).
Adcock is one of the most decorated members of the side, having played 141 senior AFL games with the Lions since joining the Club at the end of 2003.
He also played more matches with North Ballarat (45) than any other of his fellow Team of the Decade members.
Former Lions players Matthew Tyler and Matt Austin were also drafted from the Rebels, but were overlooked by the selectors.
Meanwhile, Tim Notting - another product of North Ballarat - was ineligible for selection as he was recruited too early (1996).
